Artel Press author, and composer Michael Higgins was joined by The Swinsung Euphonia ensemble yesterday (30th Aug 2021) at Liverpool Parish Church for a wonderful performance of In Keen and Quivering Ratio for the rescheduled launch of his recent published works.
The programme featured 16 works using texts as diverse as Rossetti and Rumi, and variously scored for 2 pianos, voice, organ and percussion. The acoustic and setting of this historic church on the Liverpool Waterfront resulted in a spellbinding performance clearly enjoyed by both the audience and the musicians.
Thank you to Liverpool Parish Church for their hospitality, the talented and generous musicians of the Ensemble and to everyone who came to hear and witness the remarkable soundworlds created by the composer.
