The Artel Press is pleased to join with composer and writer Michael Higgins in a book launch and concert at the Parish Church of Our Lady and St Nicholas, Liverpool on Monday 30th August 2021.
In Keen and Quivering Ratio will mark the publication of three of Higgins’ works by The Artel Press, in a concert that was sadly postponed in 2020 due to the COVID crisis and which we are delighted to now re-present.
This afternoon recital of contemporary classical music will consist of a performance of new work by Michael Higgins for baritone, 2 pianos, organ, percussion, Indian harmonium, shruti, guitar and double bass, setting works by Rumi, Rilke, Attar, Dickinson, Rossetti and Blake.
